Kraftwerk. i admit i'm a little biased but there have been so much shit sampled from Kraftwerk to this day. I remember when bass music hit it's peak in the late 80's to early 90's. A lot of that sound came from shit Kraftwerk did years before.

completely forgot about Kraftwerk...thanks for the reminder. I'm most familiar with The Art of Noise though.

Damm!! Got me reminiscing about all the German chicks I used to run up in the late 80s. Popping in the clubs in Stuttgart, Göppingen, and Darmstadt area off Kraftwerk. Love this song:yes:

That's a tough one. The first time I heard numbers was at a Halloween party in 1980 and that composition blew my mind. I remember a girl doing the Harlem shuffle to it. I'm going with Kraftwerk on this one.

Dope thread. I voted for Art of Noise, because of this was one of my favorite beats growing up.

I don't know man, this is a tough one. Numbers was the shit, but I used to get much ass off this shit.

Edit: ^^^Aw damn, I forgot about Tour de France.

(goes to look for big piece of cardboard)

We are showing our age fellas! This was hot in the 80's and everyone had these 33's or 45's! Every party, radio station, skating rink, played Art of Noise or Kraftwerk.
Takes me back.....

This post was like a time machine it took me waaaay back!!!!

Wasnt expecting that on a Tuesday night but oh well.

If it wasn't for Kraftwerk there wouldn't had been no Art of Noise!
by the time AON started doing their thing Kraftwerk already put in
ten years pioneering the genre.

Yeah it was a tough choice and I was somewhat torn but yeah KW gots to get their props. Peeps don't realize what those dudes did globally for the entire music industry. Real talk.

The Roland TR808 and the synthesizers like the old Roland SH101 and the Juno 6 owes a whole lot to that one European group. Dudes were real earth shakers with their pioneering innovative sounds. True godfathers.

AON were the truth too though.
