Thanks, fam.... She passed when I was young in junior high, and literally moved from Brooklyn to live with my family in L.A. right after the funeral.
Kray was the heart and soul of Bone and if he leaves us the group would never be the same.

You're welcome.

My mom had a similar experience losing her mom when she was young. She was 3 when her mom died in her late-30s from polio complications back in the '50s. She wasn't too close to her dad & eventual stepmom, so she moved a few provinces over to live with her aunt while she was in high school.

Agreed re: Kray. Definitely a key member of an important group from the 90s and early-00s.

Man, if you a Midwest kat in your 40's Bone is your childhood. I hope he pulls through.
Man, these cats are from my city. I'm FROM Cleveland, not one of the Suburbs, and Im 46. In the Navy, folks would come up to me asking if u knew the words to their songs cuz I was from Cleveland.

We need Kray to pull thru

I'm hoping the brotha Krayzie can fight this and win.

Its crazy and ironic that he's only 50 years old.

There's more music he needs to give to this world.

I wouldn't say he's the heart and soul but him and Layzie are the reason for their sound. Kray does the hooks and concepts for most of their albums after East 1999 Eternal.

I don't know, how you can make a final album with one of them being gone...imo

If you ain't from that block, you minus well be from the suburbs to cats from there. Thing about Bone is everyone showed them love up here from HVD to Kinsman to Union to 116 to 93rd to Superior to W25 to the burbs to the Valley to King Kennedy to Morris Black and beyond. I still remember the wannabe freaknic cats had up here in 94 or so when Bone was getting hot. They bumped that shit everywhere. Heading out east in the later 90s, everyone asked me about bone.

Biz is my fav out the group, but krazie right up there. Hope he pulls through.

People don't understand, how important Bone meant to the city. Sure,we had MC Brains and a couple of local artists before them but Bone put Cleveland on the map.

I still bump their music like it's new.....:giggle:

Leathaface and Stratejacket are my two favorite members....

:itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

I hope Leathaface pulls through because they've been talking about this "Legacy" project since 2017. It's suppose to be a double album(one album with them only and the other full of guests that gave them love over the years,a movie and a book....

I grew up about an hour from Memphis, and when Bone first dropped, I was like "who are these dudes trying to sound like 3-6 Mafia?" I ended up liking their style, and their Versuz with 3-6 was quite entertaining. I'm hoping he pulls through.

Not a good sign, his condition must still be dire :smh:
It is a very serious situation. Right now I imagine, his lung is collapsed with a tube in it to drain the blood, they might even have him strapped in an upright position so that his good lung doesn't get any blood. His immune system is most likely suppressed so he is quarantined and in an induced coma with a respirator to assist in breathing.
If this is the case they will try to allow his body to strengthen up before operating again and figure out where the hemerging is coming from.
There is nothing about his statement that indicates things are getting worse, but yeah it's a serious situation that's going to look bad before anything gets done for it to get better.
One thing in Kray situation is that he's in good shape, especially for his age, and if he can just hold on a little longer they will get inside and hopefully find the source of the bleeding once and for all. Keep in mind I am not a medical doctor, so there may be more nuances to the situation that I am not aware of, so think of it as the shorthand version.
