LeBron James says he is "no relationship" with Kareem Abdul Jabaar

I'm going to rock with Kareem on this one.

Kareem is well known for being a straight up asshole when it comes to dealing with people during his time.

Really??? I know he was a little too frank for a lot of the mostly white press but so was Barry Bonds. The unvarnished truths both often spoke didn't go down too well with white reporters who were envious of black athletes who'll probably make more in a month than they'll make in their lifetimes, despite their college degrees.

Could this be why you say they're well known for being assholes?

Kareem acts like a hating ass dude.
His efforts in criticism of others seem bitch like.
He spends time telling people what they should be doing, should keep on doing him without the hate.

Naw man.
Dude was known to be shitty to everybody. Even kids who asked for an autograph.

Kareem has some strong views, and he's not always wrong. He does, however, seems to overthink things, but he has always been like that, which led him to be reserved and somewhat aloof over the years. To be fair, he has really worked on his image, especially towards the end and after his career.

Some of his criticisms of LeBron are valid, like the way LeBron handled the COVID situation. And Kareem has always had strong views on social activism, which is why him and LeBron should be kindred spirits. Some criticism does feel, however, like a generational thing, so he comes off as "the old guy" who's criticizing the new way of things. Of course, the fact that LeBron is coming for his all-time scoring record - which I'm sure is a prime motivator for LeBron to keep playing (other than playing with his sons), and it's a thorn in Kareem's side (even though neither of them would admit it).

It's a shame that they can't have a meeting of the minds and be cool with each other. It would be great for the game and for Black men as well.

He know Bron is Bron. Low key he probably tired of spending time with youngstas that don't wanna take what he has to say to heart. I mean he worked with Kwame Brown and Bynum only to see these dudes fuck up.

At the end of the day, he mastered an ungaurdable shot but all the big man would rather shoot threes so he probably like fuck these new niccas. Haha

Karrem lost me years ago when he avoided all the

Beautiful women

Just to appear on JET magazine with the stubbiest pasty thing he could find..

Hey his life and my right to see him as a clown ass kneegrow that happens to be a legend on the court..
wait..what??

wait..what??

when he appeared on the cover of jet magazine with his wife who happend to

be white.. I mean aint nothing wrong, but it was just at a time when I was saying,

how bruhs love sisters, and this sister was telling me, thats only

untill we make it, then we dont want nothing to do with them..

and she said even Kareem Abdul Jabbar, had a white wife, and I lost a bet

saying he didnt, so I was salty Ever since...LOL

but in retrospect... people love who they love...

and as long as its real thats all that matters...

I dont agree with his coonish views,

but I understand at his age, he aint tryin

to be struggling...

lots of these old heads just give in when they get a certain

age...

I wont be one of them..

TRUST... I couldve been running companies all over the caribbean

for a fortune 3 company...

but I will never pay that price to do it!!!

the price I wouldve had to pay I wouldnt be able to

sleep at night..

many could, just so they could look down on people...

I rather take the long scenic road to bliss..

and I made the right choice...

Nothing like getting there with your soul

and integrity intact..

he stood tall when the time came thats all that matters. Lebron LITERALLY stands on the shoulders of that so he much respect should be had by him, YOU and every black person regardless.
What did he do that bron hasn't? Regarding social issues.
He build a school? Empower those around him to be moguls in any way?
That nigga was arrogant as fuck & treated people shitty when the cameras wasn't on.
