Don't ask me why, but I watched a video where this chick gave a long winded account of her life story. She's from an immigrant family and she's basically the black sheep of the family. She's literally a nail tech ho from DC, she's been fucking with brothers since she was young, in and out of jail, and once she had her first black kid her family basically said you belong to the streets. And in the streets she remained. Somehow, she ended up on Love & Hip Hop which was her big "break" so to speak but she also runs a nail shop or 2 near DC which I'm sure she's been overcharging in now that she's a "reality" star.

That's why I Iook at Jeannie Mai sideways. She's from the Bay and you can tell when she talks about her past she's been through some shit. But nevertheless, she married a white dude who she thought would be acceptable to her family. But the dude was broke and when she started making more than him they had a messy divorce. Now she's with Jeezy, who's rich enough to take her whole family on a Caribbean vacation, so naturally he's an acceptable negro. So acceptable, Jeannie switched her whole stance on having kids.

Oh I know, lol. I watched a couple of her YouTube vids back in the day when she was living out in Atlanta. She seems to have several successful nail salons, but she keeps trying different entertainment avenues to be famous (rapping, Wild n Out, reality TV).
