Mr. Noah has quite the start-up resume.
He was employee #30 at Facebook, #4 at Mint, had previously worked for Intel (where he frequently took naps under his desk), and had turned down a six-figure offer from Yahoo. Since we first met, Noah’s helped create Gambit, an online gaming payment platform and a multi-million dollar business; and AppSumo, loved by entrepreneurs and moms everywhere. He also helped pour fire on both the 4-Hour Workweek and 4-Hour Body launches.
The purpose of this post is simple: to teach you how to get a $1,000,000 business idea off the ground in one weekend, full of specific tools and tricks that Noah has used himself.
He will be your guide…
Obviously there's no quick/easy how to make a mil guide so don't look at this article as that. It's one man's insight and it is one of the best entrepreneurship articles I've read in a while...

I need to move this thread to the business board because this is too good of a thread to be falling to the back pages.
I think thats a key...Alot of people think u gotta have some big complex thing, but the simple things are what do it everytime
Cosign. That's why the lady who invented spandex just became a billionaire. Spandex.
Cool that she did this, but the website could use some more polish (colors, layout, etc).
I'm a believer that if you get press, make sure your product looks damn good, because you only have one chance to make a first impression.
And I would consider seeing if I could buy pencilmein.com from the current owner since nothing is on the site right now.

Spanx inventor Sara Blakely is a billionaire at 41 years old, according to the annual Forbes magazine list of billionaires.
Blakely, the creator and owner of the line of women's and men's slimming, smoothing undergarments, is the youngest woman ever to make the list as a self-made billionaire, meaning she didn't inherit or marry into the money.
She's one of several billionaires who appear on the cover of the latest Forbes issue.
According to Forbes, Blakely was 29 when she was looking for something flattering to wear under her white slacks. She ended up inventing a new line of shaping underwear. She invested $5,000 — her entire life savings — to start the company.
On Thursday, Blakely appeared on "CBS This Morning" and talked about her rise to wealth.
"I've always had that gratitude that I had the opportunity to pursue my potential," she said. "So I think my story says that, when women are given the chance and the opportunity, that we can achieve a lot.
"We deliver. We can make the world a better place, one butt at a time."

let's say somehow, against all odds, somehow, you met her at some function and she and you started hitting it off, would you consider her for wifey material???![]()

Wrong thread, think with your other head!

This cat takes your idea and makes it better, then he produces it and sells it and cuts you a royalty check. Bad part is he keeps the patent.

The business board is a grave yard. Keep it here.

I'm no millionaire but I also employ people from around the globe to do work for me. Philippines have great writers. Can get them by screening them from Craigslist in Manila, I've done it many times. Just hired a few to do some copy for a mobile app I'm building. And I have a guy in Pakistan I hired building the app...
Did all that for peanuts...
I'm on a mission to have about 20-30 mobile apps built by year end.
You need to know what average pay is for the areas that you are hiring. These foreigners "smell" an American and want to rape you with prices. Like a few of the writers in the Philippines will try to rape you. I know the average salary there for jobs are like $5 US a day. So adjust your pay according to how much time you think they are worth...
They are some of the best copywriters, better than India and english is superb, just make sure you screen them.
No black faces
Will edit later.
how's your project coming along?
Actually because of threads like this I moved from messing with mobile apps. I am working on two major sites for startups.
One is on a major scale where I am targeting transactions, similar to Dwolla but looking to take on companies like Western Union and Moneygram. The other I went to Kickstarter to get the funds for.
But books like The Millionaire Fastlane I consider as a bible to anyone looking to formulate a bizness. I actually went and bought the book from the author on Amazon cause I felt like it was an education very rarely taught that I needed. I can't stress enough running any biz idea that you have thru the process in that book. Running Lean is another book that is great that I am still reading. Kaya, props for this thread, dropping bombs in here.
And don't worry as I progress I will be asking for support from the board to spread the word to sign up if possible. Both these businesses, everyone can use.
