On Martin, Tommy used to speak about getting the draws. That mentality, with no intention of any further action - simply, get the draws is what a lot of Black men focus on in our community and their focus ends there. It's like picking up a deck of cars that was dropped in water looking for a dry one. You can't get to the one or two or six that are dry because you're burnt out dealing with 40 plus wet cards.
Black women want us, actually prefer us, But there ain't enough of us good ones in circulation that can give them what they want - a relationship, a family, that forever shit. In the end, they sacrifice themselves, and good dick (I've spoken to a woman who converted) For those last three things - a relationship, a family, that forever shit.
Problem is, History has shown white people are the most corrupt people on earth by and large. And many black women later on find themselves regretting going to the white side and the result is just as bad if not worse than with a brother. The problem is that they want unconditional acceptance while simultaneously demanding that we meet their checklists.
