Not at all. People love to throw numbers around to discourage others from taking the plunge. Numbers does not tell the whole story why a marriage fails. It is funny thought that we give more to our bosses, jobs and business partners than our life partners and family.
That's the fucked-up thing. The expression that someone's "married to their job" is spot-on with alot of people.
The caucasoid has brainwashed Blacks in to being allergic to science, statistics, numbers and arithmetic. Stats enables the analyzation of history and trends, and they predict outcomes.
Question, do you disregard the numbers when getting a weekly paycheck or reading your bank statements?

They also brainwash Blacks to believe that Blacks are inferior to Whites. You state that Blacks are allergic to numbers but you could say that we are allergic to psychology too. Blacks have to do a better analyzing the psychological aspect of the actions we take. We need to take into many thing in order to make a successful marriage both scientifically and emotionally.
The Traditional Marriage succeeds because the man works while the woman runs the home, a clear and valuable division of labor.
Today, the most common type of marriage is the Companionate Marriage, in which husband and wife each have a career, and they co-parent and co-housekeep according to gender-free norms they negotiate.
Why do we still insist on marriage? Sure, it made sense to agrarian families before 1900, when to farm the land, one needed two spouses, grandparents, and a raft of children. But now that we have white-collar work and washing machines, and our life expectancy has shot from 47 to 77, isn’t the idea of lifelong marriage obsolete?
Have you ever checked the divorce laws in your state? Marriage isn't only about you and your woman, you are also married to the state. Didn't you read the article?

Nantz also has to pay $1,000 a week in child support for their 15-year-old daughter for the next two years.
Jim's wife also gets the couple's Westport mansion -- no word if he gets to keep the couch he's probably been sleeping on.

In reality we'd all love to be in a happy marriage. Unfortunately not just marriages but relationships as a whole fail at some point. Some people divorce too soon, some people should've never been married. If archaic laws weren't in place to penalize the man during the divorce, maybe men would have a different outlook.
Exactly what that guy said. If you are getting marriage with the idea of divorce then don't get married. This is also an extreme case of divorce. That is why you do not get married until you have mad your money and then get a pre-nup to protect the money you made if your going to be in the millions.

Why not get married?
Because in this day and age, as far as a man is concerned, it has not an advantage. Marriage/companionship are NOT synonyms.
That 40% is PERCEIVED success. Inside of that 40% are, those about to divorce, those that are separated, those that are functional, and those that are just figureheads. Not a pure number for happiness if you ask me but I will let you believe what you will.

Cats are in real denial about this. Ain't nothing new under the sun. My mom' father was one of those grand dads and when I look back, nothing about him was overtly irresponsible. My mom's family was poor but my grand dad made sure neither of his families missed meals and he worked until he died, but...he got around a bit.

I have been saying this for years. If you are black and live in America, you need a psychologist, psychiatrist, or psychotherapist to help you adjust to the silent barrage pushing your sanity into oblivion. So, you definitely need it to function in close proximity with another.

I feel you, I already found the woman of my dreams. And I'm doing all I can to keep her. Nothing is worse than being 45 and single and most of these so called players will end up that way. It really sucks when you have no one in your corner when times get tough.
