Potholes still can't get fixed in the street in a timely fashion but we expect these multi billion dollar corporations to just crank out mistake free content for us to mindlessly gorge ourselves on.

The entertainment government etc are all a complete mess.

Thats why I'm still impressed when I sit through the credits of endgame for example a see HUNDREDS of people and actually thousands focus on one goal and make a masterpiece.

We gotta take a minute an appreciate that at least for a second.

Definitely not easy but if they stick to the script of the years and years of comics it shouldn't be so hard either.
The infinity saga wasn't perfect but it was great.

They shouldn't have touched the Netflix shows Luke Cage was on fire, Daredevil was top-notch, and the punisher was rolling.

They turned around and now have to start from SCRATCH when they had something already working. That allowed the everyday common person to watch. Now it's total chaos.
 
I really do not understand why they are blaming Majors for Quantamania bombing. I guess I missed the part where that was solely a Majors/Kang led movie.
 
The Marvels hasn't even dropped yet and all these reports make it seem like it already bombed.

I'm actually looking forward to that movie, but they don't seem to have any confidence that it will do well in the box office.

Scorcese has been skating by with mediocre work for a while now - his best work was decades ago

but he felt compelled to complain about comic book movies instead of improving his craft

low key - Russos made 3 movies in the last 10 years that were better than Marty's movies of the last 20 years

Last post and I'll end my rant

In 20 just about every single marvel movie will be looked at as dated and corny, the humor will be seen as juvenile, the cgi will be seen as terrible, the subject matter empty, the identity politics silly And Scorsese will still be a legend of cinema, his films will still be broken down by film students, and his masterpieces will still be in the national film registry while marvel movies will be a joke from days past. End rant lol

arrested development kills almost any point you want to make

even though it was collaborative work with a superior screen writing team and producers - those big ip movies were better films than Scorcese's recent work

Nigs paid him millions so he could continue his evil dead saga and they didn't even know it. How you know it was evil dead 4 they had ash as one of the characters and he literally started kicking his own ass like he did in part 2 and 3.. nig had a zombie Dr strange like he has had zombie ash and zombie bad guys. Arrested development (which is just okay imo) another thing they didn't create, like I said they're mediocre. And sure Scorsese latest haven't been his best but why are we only allowed to use his worst work yet you're going back to arrested development? Lol

I'm not gonna argue Scorsese Vs the russos. That's just silly

Almost all his quotes have been taken out of context and nothing he's said has been false, the truth hurts and that's why these guys can't just leave it alone. And it's easy internet points from this braindead generation to hat worships children's cartoons as peak art.

Time will tell, I can guarantee outside of maybe guardians one, none of those are timeless. Hell people already shit on the first avengers movie(which is the best one imo) times change fast. These shitty popcorn flicks will be forgotten.

Avengers 3 was the best one and it ain't even close

Avengers 1 had Loki get slammed by hulk and Loki getting blown up by this nig arrow.. that's it

Avengers 3 had hulk get his asswhipped.. ebony maw sonning Dr strange. Vision being treated like naked gun nordberg throughout the movie getting his ass kicked all through it(I loved it). Thanos saying fuck your happy ending and taking out half the universe. So much more. Avengers 3>>>>> the rest of the avengers movie combined

First one is by far my favorite of the avengers films and imo balances the team perfectly and has great pacing, also did what had never been done before in bringing together so many different characters and movies, I've been to some midnight openers and hype film premieres but nothing beat the reaction to avengers 1, had to rewatch in theatres a couple weeks later just so I could actually hear the lines I missed from all the screaming, By avengers three marvel had already overstay it's welcome with me and I saw the writing on the wall that it was about to take a deep dive. Maybe the slate of films that lead up to it ruined some of the hype for me so take that into account. Definitely an enjoyable spectacle though.

Thanos as the villain - the real protagonist / main character - with a full arc...
contrasted by Iron Man and Thor's heroic arcs

best written comic book movie since the dark knight

But seriously, I don't understand why russo and marvel fans keep talking about this bullshit, he's never mentioned them personally so why are they so hurt, his opinions aren't controversial if you take them at face value yet these guys can't let it go. Marvel has its place in movies and there's nothing wrong with that, and then there's movies for those who want something more from their movies than just entertainment and that's fine, Marty is just upset that there's no space for them with all these mass produced, assembly line type franchises in theatres.

I don't think Marty should be worried though because ultimately people will get tired of the same and the pendulum will swing the other way, and so on and so forth lol

I don't mind fans trolling and talking shit, that's half the fun of being fans, I remember the days of star wars vs star trek from my youth before I grew up and learned to live both, good times lol

I just think when guys like the russos take shots at old legends like Marty it's in poor taste. They know they grew up watching his shit and they know he's one of the goats, no need to take petty shots at the old timer lol white people have no respect.
