Props. I know that feeling. Wait until you have the second high of paying it off. I had a 30 year mortgage and paid off my home in under 10 years
Yea, I remember you posting about that. I been tryna figure out the numbers on doing it myself.

My mortgage is $13 more than my one bedroom apartment + my business warehouse location... so I'm used to living below my means.

I wanna add at leastone more income stream this year. Forex

Chickens are easy as shit to keep once the coup is built just need to have a mesh top on top so birds of prey and cats don't eat em

Shit he set

I'm happy for you Pleighboi. I know exactly how it is. Especially the part about nobody telling you where or how to park. When I bought my house in 2010 I was just as happy as you are. 2545 sqft, 4 bdrm 2.5 bath including master suite with a walk-in closet.

I bought it for $160k and it just appraised for $262k.

I hope you got a riding mower. I got 0.6 acres and it takes me an hour to cut the grass. Can't wait to see pictures of the garden bro (maybe some of the nice kind of greenery)
Yea, my homie gon help me setup the garden.

Kale, spinach, collard greens, squash. Cucumber, tomatoes, okra, yellow potatoes, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, cabbage, maybe some watermelon...

Shit dis gon be a lot of work! I'm already behind on cutting grass

I'm just glad you didn't listen to that "buying a home is a bad idea" thread that was on here a few years back. Lol.

Niggas was swearing home ownership was a bad idea. You build wealth with home ownership.

You have a business so that extra space is going to do wonders for you man.

My family from the country I've built more than one

Also you should look into how much trees cost or if there's anyway you can add more as a perimeter around your property line
Nobody see in and out and put some motion detectors or a camera or 2 around the outlier parts of it

Inside is all you it's the outskirts of 8 acres that can be tricky to keep watch over

Even if you don't use trees maybe a non poisonus ivy of sorts around chain link to define what's yours and what's not and please get 2 dogs.

2 dogs deserve to patrol that land and protect it they'll have so much fun and will be super low maintenance for you
Just keep em feed and watered in the same spot and they take care of themselves

Squash, cucumber, and watermelon are creepers. Them motherfukers will spread all over your garden. If you can set up a smaller patch just for them it'll work out better for you

Planting fresh mint is cool, but that shit's invasive too. Either plant it in a pot or at the edge of your garden like I have it. I have it at the very top of my garden (see picture below)

Like no more than 2 plants each
They grow so rapidly when it's their time to grow you won't be able to keep up with them and before you know it they're fucking huge

I want to get at least one dog, but I like to travel out the country and I ain't got nobody to see about them.
Last time I left my last dog in my apt a neighbor flaked on me the last day and my pup tore up some books.

I know that's not gon happen now, but I still dont want my dogs to go without when I'm away.

They have feeders for dogs now
Put 5 days worth of food in one thing
5 days worth of water in another

If you gonna be gone longer than 5 days they should stay with someone else while you're gone anyway

2 plants each is all I need?!
Damn, I thought I would need more space. We need to start a garden thread for tips & progress reports on certain plants in different regions.

4 days is my typical trip, 5 days is good, it gives me leeway to add another day if I decide to stay or miss a flight.

Link for feeder? That's getting bought before dog.

Always wanted a blue pit, and my first dog as a kid was a German shepherd so thinking about that.
But the practical side of me is asking what kinda dog is good if I decide to get some chickens & goats?
