I don't even think the Knicks think they can contend with Amare and Melo. I just think they're trying to sell tickets. If they were trying to really win they wouldn't have traded for Melo when they already got a non defensive playing ass star on their team.
carmelo + amare = NO DEFENSE. period. none.
people like jordan, pippen, barkley, etc. played on BOTH ends of the court.
these two cats on the same team won't get past the 1st round unless it's against a run & gun, no defense-playing team like themselves.

Gallanari is NASTY. Only time I see him play is when he plays the Mavs. Gallanari is aggressive as hell. I just thought he was a spot up shooter. Nuggets got some solid pieces to build around. Gallanari is gonna be sick with some more years under his belt. Same goes for Wilson.

i'm a knick fan and i agree with you except for that Gallo and Chandler shit...George Karl is a snake and will ruin both of those players as long as he's there...Karl has a history of bashing his players and NEVER accepts any blame for losing. Antoni needs to go but i'm still glad we got Melo

It could happen. And honestly I don't even think these dudes are in the Nuggets future. I'd like to see them stay there for awhile because I think those two can make some noise with the Nuggets now that they get more touches without Amare around. But as of right now them dudes look happy in Denver. Denver looks like they don't have a point. These past couple of games Ty Lawson has looked suspect.

The Knicks pretty much traded away their starting line up (except Amare) to get Melo and were playing only their second game with the new line up. Remember all the ugly losses the Heat took when they had all talent, but no chemistry or practice (yep, practice) together? Just having Melo means nothing if you're playing man-to-man ball (with paltry D and barely rebounding) against an opponent playing team ball. The Knicks played relatively well (all things considered), just not well enough. The Lakers played like shit in our loss against the Cavs. We were not only an established team, we were the repeat reigning champions -- playing with no real chemistry, intensity or proficiency on either side of the floor. I agree the Cavs are not as bad as their record suggests. But the Knicks loss doesn't vindicate the Lakers loss. The Cavs aren't that much better than their record suggests. They are pretty bad. They've just possibly upgraded from dung to dung beetle.
Heat still ain't beating anyone either. Their record against the elite teams in this league is fucking pitiful. They just do a good job of beating the teams they're suppose to beat which is good to get into the playoffs but shit too bad those teams won't be in the playoffs.
