One thing I casually mention to friends and family in the shitty weather months ahead is to try and increase your at-home workouts. Be creative. Also, if the roads are clear try to get some long walks or runs in if at all possible. Weather permitting (no rain, ice, snow).
Also, stock up on shit that entertains you and makes you happy. Music, books, podcasts, audiobooks, movies and TV series. Have an endless array of stuff that lifts your spirits. Having music or podcasts queued up can make even the most mundane of tasks better (i.e. - cooking dinner, doing dishes or cleaning up around the house). Plus, you can catch up on stuff while you are multi-tasking and it helps when you are seeing the results and were feeling down and discouraged prior.
