it just is what it is. work from inside out and you can get points and force fouls on miami whether they're hitting 3's or not

That was the old Heat. Cole is a lock down defender. One of the best on ball defenders in the game. No surprise when Cole came in Parker could not get into the lane as easily

I dont know if it helped but I think we all knew that was going to be toughest series at least in terms of matchups. The Spurs are a better team that Indiana but Indiana just causes serious matchup problems for Miami.

You know...I'm on record for complaining about their early post season match ups. I wanted to see them get rattled early to work out the kinks cause I feared something like the ECF happening. But I guess it all worked out. They look way more relaxed against these dudes.

Timmy doing all the work would have him gassed, remember he's getting semi-attacked on defense(I assume that would increase in the 2nd half)

The difference is they can put Haslem, Anthony and even Lewis in and still stay in the flow of their offense... Meanwhile as soon a Duncan gets tired or lord forbid in foul trouble, S.A. are fucked.

Stop. Cole has some quickless and he is a antsy defender but he is not a LOCK DOWN defender. There are VERY few of those in the NBA and Cole is not one of them. If he was a lockdown defender, he would be starting because defending the PG position has been one of the biggest issues for Miami all season.
