We did a lot of the marketing for this event. We had the heads up with how it was going to end. They stated that no one was going to throw “kill shots” each fighter was going to fight a real fight but not throw those kind of punches. Paul was going to always keep it simple.
They wanted to mix it up to “give the appearance of a fight” but Mike ran out of gas
Paul was trying to get him to the finish line.

Mike Tyson was injured before the fight. And he didn't want to cancel it for obvious reasons. This was not the same Mike who was moving and boxing four years ago against a much better opponent. You could see it in the ring. He couldn't move because something hurt. He wasn't tired cause he was old. That injury he had never healed. And probably got a new injury during training right before the fight.
