A sports franchise isn't about winning championships it's about various revenue and tax shelter schemes...

If they happen to win a chip or make series of deep runs that's great but it's not necessary.... notice how a team that's consistently at the bottom of their division or conference STILL generates millions a year??

That's why I'm saying that it doesn't make business sense.

Luka was the most popular player on the team....by far!!!

He was also a HUGE fan draw.

They even had to refund some season ticket holders because he left.

I'm sure they will recover, but Luka was a generational talent not even in his prime and they trade him away for an older SUPER INJURY PRONE AD!!!
That makes no sense at all!!!

Hey the sixers gave a 200m extension and a 200+ million max contract to super injury prone players for what was SUPPOSED TO BE a legit championship run this season....now they have to consider tanking for a rebuild...
