His own girlfriend and former friends testified against him in order to get reduced sentences. Damn their is no honor among thieves anymore. But I guess that is how the feds and prosecutors operate by simply divided and conquer. They offer the best one time deal for significantly reduced sentence for the person that talks 1st in providing info on the other accomplices in the crime committed.

I'm not sure how as a person I would act or do in that situation especially if your childhood friends.
