I watching this now and it's just OK at best.

Some funny one-liners of course, but some of the fight scenes go on too long and it's slow and drones on at parts.

Definitely not a fan of this goofy time travel shit either.

Plus, it's too many jokes that break the 4th wall.

I'd give DP 1 and 2 a 10/10. This one is 7/10 :dunno:

Thought he was referring to Sutton's pending divorce

I KNEW this was coming... It was incredible how Hollywood just shrugged at this divorce.

But that Deadpool joke? May have been a little too much.

Me and my sons watched this last night while eating Thanksgiving dinner on Disney+.

Since I’m the probably the last person on the forum who has seen it, no need in going deep into the plot.

The film is overloaded with visual/dialogue Easter Eggs referencing the comics and other MCU/SONY films from the past 20+ years. Plenty of surprise cameos of characters from a number of past films and the books.

Like the She-Hulk series, they went after all the mofos who bitch and complain/nitpick over minor shit that has been done in Marvel films in regards to women, LGBT and other silly shit.

Wolverine debut in different incarnations from the books including his classic John Bryne Brown/Tan suit. And we got Wolverine in his classic yellow/blue suit wearing the mask. Hugh Jackman also got into classic poses from the comics with/without the mask on.

The film had plenty of graphic violence with Wolverine doing what he does best with his claws. The film made up for what we didn’t see of him in the “X-Men” films.

It looks like the film takes place post-Loki season 2 dealing with the multiverse.

Overall, they did a good job allowing Hugh Jackman to close out his role as Logan giving Old School Comic Heads what they wanted with the character. It’s a fact pace film with no slow moments from opening to end.

There is a collective ménage of BTS scenes of the live action X-Men films and one post credit scene.

Hopefully, Disney follows Hugh’s version when he is introduced with the X-Men in coming years.

Looking forward to it.

Synopsis

Deadpool's peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He soon unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat.

u gotta like Ryan's sense of humor to enjoy it. it's pretty much Ryan Reynolds 20ish year old self, Jonah hill/Seth Rogan shit that he doesn't even act like anymore in real life. movie would have hit harder in that Seth rogan/mcluvin/hangover era
