Some movies play it differently. There are some movies that show far too much in the trailer and others that show far too little.
One movie, A Perfect Getaway (2009) the trailer gave absolutely nothing away and didn't make it so anyone wanted to see the movie. I happen to be living across the street from the dollar show and saw it on a whim and loved the movie.
It's going to be impossible for this movie to recoup it's losses and it's possible that fast 10 might be the last fast
It's already determined these are the final 2 they pretty much filming them back to back
I heat you but a giant popcorn bucket of fast cuts loud sounds and color and skin doesn't have to shoe THAT much of the barebones storyline but I get it.

Fast 5 was probably the best Fast & Furious movie. If they can manage something like that, I'll watch.

Letty and Han returning from death. Vin flying out of a car to catch Letty. Jumping cars from penthouse to penthouse. Fighting a tank then chasing a submarine on ice. Paul Walker beating Tony Jaa. Letty beating Rhonda Rousey. Vin beating the Rock and Statham. Rock flexing and breaking his cast. Rock pulling a helicopter back down. I haven't seen FF9 yet, so I know there is more.
Why is anyone surprised. It will make money, you forget the Asian market for these series. FF9 made 720mil and Hobbs and Shaw made 760 mil.
