The only thing they didn't touch on was his intelligence but honestly this wasn't an intelligence movie.

Nobody used brains to figure some impossible stuff out

You know I heard this before...

To be fair he was a little magical negro stereotype...but I thought it was fine

because they showed the white men as savages blood thirsty emotional ego driven unable to evolve forgive and reconsider positions when new information was made available.

He thought BEFORE he acted!

Like a king and a real leader.

I think that showed how smart and smarter he was from the rest of them.

I don't mean smart like disposition I mean brain wise academic.

He wasn't magical he was just better.

He was as strong as buckey without the suit which I thought was important to show.

So you can't take shit away from him.

I was pointing shit out to my nephew

How good of a spy he was. He was on Tony when Tony left the copter. He was I'm the building and tonys AI couldn't even pick up his heat signature.
He heard everything and handled the dude who killed his pops and them fools had no idea
.then captain America comes to him for help. Not magical
Just flat out better than yall

Nope. We're not. If we dont believe in something then we dont have to.
You have a thing against white people, but are not willing to give this black man a chance, all over a comic book character, a made up person. It's not like he's directing a civil rights movie.

yup

and the way he carried himself

regal mature king-like...

and I liked the contrast

tony was always disrespectful of his parents while they were ALIVE but it isn't till they died and HE nearly dies that he changed his ways...

but you can see the influence T'Challa father had on BP and his life and his morals and his character...

that even though he was EQUALLY distraught with anger

he was able to resolve his emotions and think of the greater good and his father's legacy.

but Tony was still crying over his Mom like no one else in the world had lost anyone (which was SUPPOSED to be the whole reason he supported the accords in the first place, I loved how ALL tied together now he felt like a victim)

Just GREAT writing overall.

I got faith in Marvel's ability to present this character in all his glory.

I will ONLY be worried if they muff Luke Cage...

Lol my thing only comes into play when i dont want a non comic person to deal with my characters. But not others can love white people dealing with them. Im alright.

Dead Serious...

If they do a 6 month early pre-order on this flick it will sell out ALMOST as fast as Star Wars.

True but marvel is so strong right now and have so much clout;they dam near run Hollywood..that probably protects black panther from fuckery....

I want to start something crazy...

Instead of saying Good Morning in the office

I told all the Black co workers,

Sawubona

http://www.unisa.ac.za/free_online_course/PDF/Zulu/Learn online Zulu - Theme 1.pdf

and whenever I or they did something well I said

welcome to Wakanda

Cacs were looking genuinely perplexed

one finally had the nerve to ask...

what that mean?

I said...

If you need to ask...it is not for you

and my most regal voice.

We need to start that trending...

We are Wakanda

My Casting Predictions for the Black Panther Movie….

- Ryan Coogler: Director / Screenwriter

- Joe Robert Cole: Screenwriter

- Nate Moore: Executive Producer

- Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa: The Black Panther

- Lupita Nyong’o as Shuri: The Black Panther’s half-sister

- Andy Sirkis as Ulysses Klaw: Mercenary / Assassin / Smuggler / Primary Villain

- Michael B. Jordan as Kasper Cole / White Tiger : A NYPD street cop who emulates Black Panther & probably becomes his close friend in the movie. T’challa gives him the nickname ‘Kasper’ due to his lighter-skin tone (as compared to Wakandans :D). He is a trained detective & a skilled marksman who wields dual firearms. Does not have the same power levels as Black Panther, but he is trained by T’challa in a unique acrobatic Wakandan fighting style that he will adopt as his own.

NOTE: Captain America now has 2 (ride-or-die) sidekicks in both Bucky & Falcon… so I predict that Black Panther will have 2 (ride-or-die) sidekicks in Suri & White Tiger.... after its all said and done

- Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Erik Kilmonger (aka N’Jadaka): An exiled Wakandan seeking revenge, who helps Klaw carry out his insidious plans for Vibranium. He is probably Klaw’s Top Henchman. (I think him or Idris Elba are absolutely PERFECT for this role. Michael B. Jordan would be 3rd on my list, but he could do well as a villain imo)

- John Kani as T'Chaka: Father of T’Challa

- David Oyelowo as N'Gassi: Top Adviser to T'Challa. He is he acting King of Wakanda whenever T’Challa goes away on long missions. He keeps the kingdom running like clockwork during his absence.

- Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross: A U.S. State Department employee who is an expert on Wakanda. His job is to escort foreign diplomats on American soil. Namely T’Challa.

- Nonso Anozie as W’Kabi: T’Challa’s Second-in-command. Completely loyal to his liege.

- Angela Basset as Queen Ramonda: Shuri’s mother & Current Queen of Wakanda.

- Florence Kasumba as Okoye: Wakandan Bodyguard. Chief of Security of The Dora Milaje (The Royal Security Force).

- N'Bushe Wright as Nakia: Wakandan Bodyguard. 2nd in command of The Dora Milaje (The Royal Security Force).

- Kerry Washington as Queen Divine Justice: The street-smart queen of the Jabari tribe of Wakanda raised in Chicago, and former Dora Milaje of T'Challa. She originally went by the name Chanté Giovanni Brown.

- Alisha Keys as Monica Lynne (Jazz Singer): Before he ever met Storm, she was T’Challa's romantic 'Love Interest' in the comics. She once saved T'Challa from drowning after losing a fight with Killmonger.

- Lance Reddick as S'Yan: T'Challa's wise uncle, who guides and teaches him since he was a youth. He gives T'Challa vital information, encouragement & 'life lessons' about ruling wisely... to become the new King, after T’Chaka’s death.

- Peter Mensah as Zuri: A old, grumpy but legendary Wakandan warrior. A close friend of the late T'Chaka, and one of T'Challa's most trusted advisers.

And last but not least.....

- Denzel Washington as Bast the Panther God :

Dezenel could LITERALLY be the ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’.... to Boseman’s ‘Luke Skywalker’.
And would teach T’Challa about all the mystic history of Wakanda... and all about his Black Panther mantle.

Bottom line, Denzel is the gateway into tapping into all the powers of the previous Black Panthers.
This is a role of major importance, that could re-appear in any future BP sequels.

All Denzel would need to do is dust off his old 'Steve Biko' accent from the movie 'Cry Freedom'.... and... :itsawrap:

Just saying.

Hey folks, Harry here... Angela Bassett is the BLACK PANTHER's Momma! That's right, Bassett, who once upon a time had a legion of fans screaming for her to play STORM instead of Halle Berry, will now be playing RAMONDA, T'Challa's noble and enigmatic Stepmother. This is pitch perfect casting - and yet another home run for MARVEL, which just nails stuff like this! Can't you imagine her saying this:

Angela Bassett is joining Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke and Florence Kasumba... oh and of course the great Chadwick Boseman, who've we've already seen kick intense ass in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR! This film will be hitting our theaters on February 16th, 2018! Aren't you excited? Me too!

They need to do good market saturation, have prequel series comic, youtube, vids, commercials and an intro to Wakanda for the build up. It should do ok on strength of Avengers but eh, don't let them fuck this up yall
