Jacksonville police arrested a Kinston couple on a car-load of charges related to vehicle break-ins Wednesday.
Israel J. Rogers, 23, of Ferndale Lane, in Kinston, and
Chanteria Jackson, 18, of 554 Briss Road in Kinston, were charged by the Jacksonville Police Department with seven counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, four counts of larceny, four counts of possession of stolen goods and conspiracy.
Authorities say they arrested the pair after a witness reported a white vehicle leaving Arrington’s Auto Repair on Lejeune Blvd.
A traffic stop and further investigation revealed stereo equipment in the back seat of the vehicle and that 7 vehicles had been broken into.
Rogers and Jackson are in the Onslow County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
