NY niggas killed they self. Arrogance and hating is what did them in. Run DMC started that shit with the "You need to go down south, you need to shut your mouth verse". Niggas in the south and the West had been eating off a rap, just by selling in their own regions, but NY niggas would still try to disrespect them on tours because they had no idea the type of money niggas was generating. 50 was smart enough to see that all them niggas was haters and aligned himself with people who was just about good music and not where you were from.
