Hard to argue against this one. "Teenage Love" by Slick Rick and WCWC's "Before You Turn Out the Lights" are also faves of mine.

You already pretty much beat me to it with those first two you posted. Both are standard classics. And you right. Not a whole lot to choose from.

Does Drake stuff count? I don't really listen to dude that deep but I'm sure if any rapper has some slow songs out this dude HAS to have some.

yup Drake stuff DOES count...

I like his stuff not a big fan but he makes good music...

He is one of the FEW new MCs that can balance and make those songs and then make 0-100.

you got to respect that.

And his songs aren't KINDA love songs targeting women...there are bonfide well written hip hop love songs.

Drake is one artist that has found that balance between shit for the ladies and other shit, and does both sides very well too. Can't front on the kid at all.

I always felt that way about dude. Never was a huge fan but some of his stuff was definitely not bad at all. When he gets out of his lane and tries to go hard that's where he tends to get tripped up IMO. But he got some nice joints tho.
