He said he wasn't hacked, he said he pays someone to control his social media profiles and hey took it on to themselves to make the post.

Almost everyone checks their social media accounts several times a day. I don't believe that Fat Joe, an industry veteran who makes a living off his public image, a man who pays other people to maintain this image online, would take this long to reply to a Twitter hack. More than likely he just didn't expect the backlash he got.
About 20 years ago a group of artists approached Fat Joe about forming a union for recording artists. Part of their demands included a minimum $2/album royalty and international health coverage during tours. Fat Joe replied by saying "These rock dudes? Their moms and pops be owning a percentage of fucking percentage of Colgate and shit like that. Some of these cats, their careers are hobbies. For us, this is our livelihood." Meanwhile, he was doing video shoots wearing over $100,000 worth of jewelry. It's also worth mentioning that the 'rock dudes' spearheading this union were Don Henley, Sheryl Crow and Vernon Reed. Hardly hobby rockers.
This tells me that when it comes down to it Fat Joe has made a nice name for himself and doesn't want to make waves. I respect his music, but that's it.
