We working on doing a low budget video for “Hustle All Day”, the bridge comment stood out, he’s planning to do to a lil something to cover those comments...

Also I used your stepping out comments to drive home a point I’ve making for years....

I think we finally on the same page with it...
Why sound like Young Thug, when u can be Boom.
I feel he have superior talent that can separate him and allow him to be great. He feels this way also but after creating this thread and showing him y’all comments, I finally understand what the problem was. He expressed he don’t know how to be great/iconic, he said “Like how to do that”.

I told him bro, you have to be you first, then don’t come half stepping, put together a great team and see what can come outta that. The music is there, I probably got 300 songs on my computer, that could get overhauled and folks would be like who the fuck is this.

Here is a decent definition but most Rap or R&B songs use Bridges to usually
link the Middle of a song to the end of it
I find it completes the song and makes it sound way more professional
Good Luck

first of all let me say that you got a lot of courage posting any kind of original creation on a bgol thread so respect for that.

I'll come at this with my DJ ears. Tell you if I would put these tracks in my set. Why or why not.

In my opinion the biggest problem with "control" is that you keep saying "shake it" and "lose control" but the beat isn't something that a woman's actually going to do either of those things to.

It sounds a lot like Akon's "sexy bitch" but waaaay too laid back.

you might want to go another direction with it. Throw in some afrobeat or reggaeton type rhythms underneath the four on the floor.

The other problem is that you got this great build up about a quarter way through, but instead of a drop you just go back to the same beat. That is a cardinal sin of EDM production. you can't have your crowd all worked up ready to punch the floor and then give them nothing.

"Juice" is by far the best one. I agree with the other posters about a bit too much autotune, but it's catchy, your flow is on point, and the lyrics work. It's not something I would lead with, but certainly something I would put in my crate.

"Hustle" is dope too. Very heartfelt, only thing is at this emotion is betrayed by the auto tune. I have a feeling that you can actually sing without that enhancement. Maybe try it on this song to give it more emotion.

Other posters have said that your song sound too similar to each other. I think that might be because four of them are in D Minor. Switch up your keys and see what happens.

Either way I think you're on to something. try to get access to a producer with a few club hits under their belt and let them direct the project. Whatever you do DON'T STOP NOW!

Lil bump for the evening crew...
I didn't hear the stuff you posted last year.
I think this batch is a fairly solid collection. My old head ass took a few notes as I listened.

Standout tracks:

"Splash"
-nice production
-the beat is bumpin’
-i like the first part of the chorus where they beat drops out, then drops back in for the rest

"So Real"
-this one might be my favorite
-really ear pleasing song
-it captures you from the opening notes
-the echoes at the very end sounded cheap and a bit lazy...some deep ambient reverb instead maybe over a slight delay with a long tail

"Money on My Mind"
-starts out really nice
-the bass drop took away from it. It would have been more enigmatic and bare bones without it...just staying how it was before the bass.
-I could see a good female singer doing a simpler secondary hook on that song

"Gettin' Mine"
-nice lo-fi retro piano at the beginning
-decent production
-nice harmony vocals adding some layer complexity
-really dig his flow on this
-good solid tune. it competes with "So Real" for my fave out of this batch.

I wish much success for your brother.
