What I'm saying is you really cant criticize someone for no stage presence if they goal wasn't to put on a show. Knowing how to preform is taught thru repetition rappers lyricist in particular practice flowing not where to stand on stage. As far as freestyling nobody every really did that off the top unless you was in a cipher somewhere just joking around. Most rappers have a few rhymes some more that they have on cap mentally and spit those. They may add on a piece here and there to keep it fresh but that's it. Even on mixtapes most of them shits was throw away rhymes B side joints or new lyrics they didn't put on official recordings yet.
