continuing his dads legacy.. w the exception of solo.. i thought we were limited to black directors...but if there is no limitations, to be fair we have to break it down into genres...:)

hitchcock was overrated .. without the score all hitchcock movies would flop... watch vertigo and psycho without sound...nuthin visually captivating bout it.. and woody allen he is overated even in french standards... u wait and wait and nuthin happens....george lucas is poo ... what original thought he has he brought to film ..

Chris Nolan- every movie he has directed I have enjoyed.

Danny Boyle- First independent movie I ever watch was Trainspotting and that open me up to foreign films and this guy. I went on to watch 28 days later and Sunshine. His last two movies have been tamed but still enjoyed them.

John Singleton- from Boys in the Hood to Shaft to Baby Boy to Higher Learning and Poetic Justice.

Wes Anderson- Rushmore, The Fantastic Mr Fox, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,The Darjeeling Limited,The Royal Tenenbaums and has a new movie coming out. Love all his movies plus he is a fellow Houston guy. Also he keeps Bill Murray in his movies.

number 5?? can't think of one
