China is challenging Euro-Atlantic security, as stated in the NATO declaration. The Secretary General of the Alliance separately noted the “most serious message” to Beijing with a call to stop cooperating with Russia.

The Chinese embassy in the United States responded to this by telling RIA Novosti that China is against mentioning itself as a “threat” in NATO documents and believes that the alliance should stop making unfounded accusations.

The PRC emphasizes that trade relations with Russia proceed according to market rules and WTO principles and such cooperation is not subject to any criticism . China rejects all claims of complicity in the Ukrainian conflict, noting that it does not supply weapons to either side.

United States and France made sure the anti-NATO candidates won’t win.

So comments like this is laughable

“Malaysia sent a letter to Russia with an application to join BRICS, also expressing its readiness to become a strategic partner of the organization, the country's prime minister said

Previously, Malaysia said it would buy oil from Russia despite sanctions.”

Czech President Petr Pavel:

"I do not believe that the full recovery of control over the entire territory (of Ukraine) is a necessary condition (for NATO membership). If a demarcation is established, even of an administrative border, we can accept that administrative border as temporary and accept Ukraine into NATO on the territory it will control at that time."

NATO's Geilenkirch base in north-west Germany, home to the alliance's AWACS aerial reconnaissance fleet, "was put on high alert for almost 24 hours due to intelligence warnings about a possible sabotage attack by Russian agents," says the Financial Times.

This base sent all its non-essential personnel home on Thursday afternoon as part of a security lockdown of the base.

A spokesman for the facility said that main military operations had not been affected and that NATO had continued to operate AWACS flights, which provide the alliance with vital long-range early warning information and intelligence on hostile military activity.

The alert status was a "precautionary measure," he said.

This comes after another nearby military base in Cologne-Wahn, was put on alert this month after an intruder was found to have cut through the fence in an apparent attempt to reach the base's water supply unit.

As well as being vital to NATO's own defence capabilities, the Geilenkirchen-based AWAC fleet has been used to assist Ukraine by providing it with vital intelligence.

AWAC flights in international airspace over the Black Sea have been able to gather significant details about Russian military positions and manoeuvres thanks to their powerful long-range capabilities, the FT writes

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says Ukraine has achieved “a lot” in its Kursk offensive against Russia, but it is difficult to say how the situation will evolve next.

“Only Ukrainians can make the difficult decisions that are needed, such as where to deploy their forces and what kind of war is appropriate in this situation,” Stoltenberg said.

He also claimed that Ukraine has the right to “self-defense,” including with long-range missiles that can hit military targets on Russian territory.
“I am glad that many NATO countries have given that opportunity, and those that still had restrictions have eased them so that Ukraine can defend itself.”

Zelensky will attend a meeting of the Ramstein group, a coalition of nations that supply arms to Ukraine, on Friday, where he is expected to request increased arms deliveries, specifically long-range missiles, according to German magazine Spiegel.
