Kawhi's game just isn't visually appealing. That's why he gets overlooked. Averaged more per game this year than Durant and also shot better from 3.
I think Durant is the better offensive player but it's no argument for "vastly superior" when Kawhi averaged more per game and surprisingly shot better from 3 than someone who is known as a puer shooter.

I’ve heard lakers...knicks and nets throughout the season...the nets rumors picked up more steam as it became a little bit clearer that being closer to family was the motivating factor

Stats never tell the whole story. Of course Leonard should average more. Hes not sharing the ball with 2 other offensively great players like KD. So that average means nothing. And yes I think when KD is engaged, hes superior offensively and it's not close. He has a lot more in his arsenal than Leonard. He can do a lot more. KD is the most gifted offensive player I've ever seen, outside of MJ.......

Of the other options out there, this wasn't the worst. It's not like we haven't been improving every season and made the playoffs despite Levert missing three months and Dinwiddie missing a month in a half. Add some vets and our young guns keep improving... You never know

No he wasnt. The fact it was a debate showed that. He's the best iso scorer, thats all. He sucks at leadership and is an overrated defender. If KD going to NY, no one has him instantly making them a contender as the "best player". And if his team pulls this 3-1 miracle off without him he'll look even smaller.
