Im asking about Durant.

As a man and a player.

Lebron wouldnt need management's permission to set Russ straight. He wouldnt even need the coach's permission to do it.

KD cant be blameless in what he didnt have the heart to do himself.
Terrible comparison. Who has Lebron ever played with that was on his level? The closest to his level was Wade and they were still light years apart(moreover, Lebron went to, what was at the time, Wade's team.) At no point in Lebron's career has there been any question whom the top dog was.

Durant and Russ are also light years apart.

There NEVER should have been a question as to who the top dog was.

Durant just didnt have the heart to let Russ know this.

Because Lebron won with Anthony Bennett and Dion waters right?
you got all summer to be mad and try and prop him up
go on head
2 rings is all i know.
going for more next year.

Nigga I'm a LeBron fan... And I'll be damn if he ain't serve this golden state team all three times he's faced em....

One minute yall say coaching/front office was terrible in Okc... But they has Durant harden and Westbrook on the same squad... They got rid of harden but still made it to game 7 of western conference finals.

What great coach has LeBron played for? Spoelstra? Mike Brown? David Blatt? Ty Lue?

The nigga has gone to 7 straight championships... Playing the highest amount of minutes and being the best player on the court for all 7 occasions....

If the guy had stayed in Cleveland all the niggas picked before he went to Miami are all already out the league.... Besides Danny Green.....

Shannon Brown... Jj Hickson.... Daniel Gibson.... Luke Jackson.... Some of you bum ass LeBron haters may not even recognize any of these names....

I'm not a huge believer of "player development" the top 5 players in this league would be the top 5 players in this league regardless where they were drafted in my opinion.... The guy wanted a co-star.... A Kobe to his Shaq.... A Pippen to his Jordan..... A robin to his Batman... Spent 7 years waiting on that...

KD on the other hand sought out a championship team to join.....

LeBron should of just joined Kobe and Pau Gasol and them.... Or join the Spurs team that beat him...

Nah, if you are playing a competitive sport... You kind of want competition bruh.... Going to join 3 all-nba players coming off an 73-9 season with a two time mvp on their team isn't competitive at all... LeBron showed that he could beat them niggas.... Kevin Durant showed that he can join them niggas.... Point blank period

Can't speak on KD and talk down on it unless you admit that Bron going to Miami was a ho move.

Not really.. Nash and Steph shouldnt have gotten two, Bron and Shaq were robbed of two and one respectively. Other than that the award has been relatively scandal free.

I agree that Nash shouldnt have got 2; I do not agree on Steph; You wanna give the award to LBJ every year, ok cool; but its a regular season award; There have been a few years where LBJ didnt have the best regular season....

I don't think Nash ever should have been MVP. I think one of those should have gone to Kobe and the other to Shaq.

I definitely think Curry deserved both of his MVP awards.

But LeBron has been robbed once or twice and Jordan was robbed several times, IMO, at least the Malone MVP years.

The Nash MVPs come closest to approaching scandalous IMO without looking up the numbers re: the other instances. Overall, the debatable instances don't rise to scandal but MVP awards, all-NBA teams and All-Star appearances are treated as gospel but actually are a pretty unreliable gauge of a players career or what was going on in the NBA at a particular time.

The father of Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson, former NBA player Mychal Thompson, said Friday that the Warriors are going to "go hard" after Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant when he hits free agency in 2016.

Thompson made the comments on ESPN LA, saying, "I also heard it on good authority from a team that plays in the Bay Area that they're going to go hard after Kevin Durant."

Mychal Thompson spent 13 seasons in the NBA, while Klay Thompson is in his fourth pro season.

Durant will hit free agency in 2016, and rumors about his future have persisted in recent years. He was limited to 27 games this past season, his eighth in the NBA, by a foot injury initially sustained last October.

The Warriors are widely expected to free up cap space by 2016 if they elect not to re-sign forward David Lee, who will make about $15.4 million next season before hitting free agency. Thompson is one of five Warriors under contract for the 2016–2017 season, joining guards Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston, as well as center Andrew Bogut.

The Warriors finished an NBA-best 67–15 this season and swept the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs. They will face the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference semifinals beginning Sunday.

This is before they even won their 1st championship
so the notion that this move was directly because of like they weren't planning on going after him before they even knew what would happen... like they wouldn't have gone after him regardless is rooted in mythology that people use to justify and make themselves feel better about shit.

you can't dispute this. this actually exists.

Yes they..Yes they did.....
KD was planning on playing for GS when he played for Okc with a 3-1 lead over them...Draymond couldn't get to his car after losing before calling KD...
Shit suspect as hell

I know that the warriors planned on going after KD since 2015. before they won their 1st ring before they won 73 games before they blew a 3-1 lead.
It is out there. Period. It was not a panic move. It was a move that was out there for a while. The ownership said they wanted to make a splash in free agency to go with the new stadium that's being built right now.
All of this is verifiable.
Not the stuff others are making up to justify reasoning.
I even spoke on it BEFORE we won our 1st ring when the rumor first came out.
I didn't believe KD would come and took the stance that I wasn't going to get my hopes up

Did you read that? They hadn't even played game 1 of the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2015 when this was written. You and everyone else didn't even know if they'd make it past the grizzlies nvm the cavs at this point
suspending logic to dedicate a cult like talking point isn't a good look.

and me saying stop swinging don't mean he ain't the best player on the planet i have said it a million times

these dudes just can't understand when a team is trying to win cause theirs don't

Dude the thing is, all these Dudes.were PRAYING that GS lost or if they won, KD would do it as a support player, and the fact that he had an historically great series, the majority of the time head up with LeBron, crushed these Dudes emotionally.

KD Marlo Stanfield the FUCK out of them and the Cavs, so these fool are trying to create their oen narrative.

Im not even a Warriors fan but I appreciate great basketball and KD put on a helluva performance, especially in crunch time.

These fools keep talking about GS has 4 all stars, but realistically, Steph and KD were the only two that showed up consistently. Klay and Draymond spent A LOT of time on the milk carton, but hey, fools will say what they need to self soothe. :smh:

It is pretty sad that so many people get paid to do sports analysis for a living and don't provide context like this.

It totally undermines the "'can't beat 'em, join 'em' after being down 3-1" narrative.

The game isn't all about offense. I think that series goes 7 games without Klay or Draymond and the Warriors easily could have lost.
