I think next year a lot of the old funk will be off the squad, and they will focus on getting taller, more athletic and deeper..
To me with the losses the Warriors stand to lose, will make both squads more evenly matched..

Love is not useless, but I think he needs a real big man to complement his skill set, Thompson is not that player, for one he doesn't block shots and his game is limited vs bigger guys..
At least love is Goofy and can play off a bigger guy especially knowing he has a big guy there to back him up, protecting the paint..

Often he is asked to help protect the paint, thats not his game... He is a great help out defender this is why he gets the steals and rebounds, what the Cavs and Love need is a real center who can protect Love weaknesses while complementing his strengthens, I think Traveres has to potential to be for Love what Whiteside was for Bosh..

The Cavs don't need to do much, remember the Warriors are going to lose a few players and are going to be strapped signing anyone if they do sign Curry to the Max..
What the Cavs need to do is get more athletic, taller and have another player who can create his own shot...
I think Traveres can turn out to be the next Whiteside, and should help fix things such as playing Thompson at the PF position instead of the center, and this may tempt them to trade Love while his value is at a all time high..

85% Chance Mello will be a Cav next year, he don't rebound like love but he can get buckets at will and not go cold from 3 in a finals game

and the bench will be filled with more athletic mid-level players
