Facts. I played in chucks once in the 90's... I felt like my feet were going to fall off.

An all time great. 88 years, 88 good years. The things that man saw during his time in the early years of the NBA. The racism he faced in one of the most racist cities in America can't be measured.

Just saw this. Regarded him in the same light as Ali for what he did on and off the court. Took a stance that many black athletes were afraid to. Plus, 11 friggin rings. 11. Who can possibly catch that? That record been held since the 60's. Man..... Peaceful journey, safe travels, and eternal rest to this legend amongst legends.
There are many statues of Laker greats. There is only one statue of a Celtic great.

I was out working with a civil rights attorney this afternoon and I come home to my Son greeting me with this information.
We gained an ancestor and the astral gained the definition of a legend!
