List of NBA SGs that have scored 51 or more points in a playoff game:

Michael Jordan (6 times)
Allen Iverson (3 times)
Jerry West (2 times) - no 3 point line
John Havlicek - no 3 point line
Sam Jones - no 3 point line
Ray Allen

:smh:

3/4 of my list have done it yet my list is a problem for certain posters?

I'm sure you picked the number 51 for unbiased and logical reasons which you can explain as opposed to vindictive, obsessive, and laughable reasons, as it may appear to some.

Right now...

Kobe Bryant, 35, 97.22%
Michael Jordan, 34, 94.44%
Jerry West, 21, 58.33%
Allen Iverson, 21, 58.33%

Dwyane Wade, 10, 27.78%
Reggie Miller, 7, 19.44%
Clyde Drexler, 6, 16.67%
Pete Maravich, 5, 13.89%

Bryant/Jordan/West/Iverson...One just doesn't quite seem to belong up there to me. Iverson tied with Jerry West?!?

Jordan
Kobe
AI
Wade

...Now West was a bad cat(smooth as shot), but all the 4 above would have went batshit in West's era and no way he would guard them.

One of the reasons he chose Wade, because of PER. Sometimes you have to ignore the trolls. He cant live up to his fathers expectations. So now you have to score 51 or more in playoff game to be great.

This is why i think these debates dont work...Today's athlete would destroy in yesterdays game...

West, Jordan, Kobe to me.

Three man mountain.

Nobody else on that level.

Pretty much. I'm trying hard to put the Pistol or the Pearl or anybody, but you're right. Just can't see anybody else on these guys level. the Answer is probably closest.

Pierce and ray Allen were on the same team and pierce was better and was finals MVP. If ray on p.p should be on.

Pierce played shooting guard about 6/7 of his career.

He played with Ricky, Eric Williams, Walter mcarty, and Gerald green and Ricky davis and the 3.

Jerry West- 44, 59.46%
Allen Iverson- 42, 56.76%
Dwyane Wade- 17, 22.97%

I like Allen Iverson but he is overrated as FUCK on here.

Sheeeeeeeeeeit. Adjust Iverson's numbers for pace at least. When we talk freakish size with ability it's Wilt, Shaq, and Lebron. Iverson's quickness was borderline inhuman. Think of his pace-adjusted numbers in West's era(not to mention less athletic perimeters).

West was the better shooter, but Iverson's quickness at its peak was insane. And Iverson didn't even take care of himself. Drank like a fish. Smoked. And still was too quick for the modern athlete.
