One of the realest moments in the movie. The corporate ladder in America in a nutshell as it pertains to the black man.
I took it as...once the racists decide to help the black guy, the black guy would be on their level, literally and figuratively.
American version would be goofy.
They'd have to get a beautiful known cast and they'd change the message.

dude was being "merciful" only eating a little bit of dude (pause) everyday hoping to keep them both alive. Imagine a mofo feeding you your own flesh as a way to survive.

I got questions tho.
If you can take the platform all the way to the top......how the hell has no one in the history of that place done it? The mom why didnt she do it and kick ass? How did she go all the way to the bottom all the time and never see her daughter, was her daughter hiding from her? Was the mom always on level one to be able to get back to her floor when she did go all the way down?
how the hell was her daughter clean and so healthy???

It was just alright. The concept fucked me up bc I'm not gonna act like i wouldn't have tried testing sneaking food and see if the temperature changed. Not sure how the fuck else i would react but the instincts to kill someone when i wake up and see we're on the 59th floor and there's no food. Fam. Somebody dying and it ain't me.

i watched snowpiercer because of this comment and that shit was banging.way more fucked up than platform.when i found out who chris evans was and what he did..... man...man...that shit was fucked up.
Level 0 was the level the cooks were. The food on Level 6 was not good because the mofos on Levels 1 to 5 would spit, piss and do whatever to it. Once that food left Level 1, it was basically contaminated, Even if you were on Level 2.
In order to take the platform to the top, you had to ride it down to the bottom. Once you got to a certain level, I can't remember which one, everybody was either dead or there was nobody there for a extensive amount of levels cuz mofos would jump to their death. The mother most likely made it to the bottom but did not see her daughter cuz she was hiding under the bed every time the platform came to her level.
But I think the mother was not a prisoner but was actually working for the prison and her job was to throw mofos off. She had expert hand to hand combat skills to keep mofos from attacking her so it was obvious she was well trained and prepared to deal with all those lunatics.
The daughter was not her daughter, but part of the prison and they were caring for her when they came thru to switch mofos from level to level.
The prison was not, but some type of mental ward to fuck with mofos head. If you remember, mofos volunteered to get into that place.
