Smoking cigarettes and weed will age you almost as fast as meth. As a medical professional and scientist, it baffles me how people can not recognize that inhaling carbon into your body is bad.
This is a great point.

You light something beneficial near your face and breathe it into your lungs through fire...do it all the time though, knowing.

Ain’t activated charcoal carbon,though?

This is one of the best questions ever asked on BGOL.

Yes, activated charcoal does contain carbon. Humans are carbon-based and carbon is the backbone of human existence. However, it's the inhalation of the carbon into the lungs that is problematic. Additionally, activated carbon is "activated" by exposing it to extreme temperatures. The carbon is ingested and binds with numerous toxins in the digestive system, not the respiratory system. Because of the nature of activated carbon, the body can not digest it and it, along with the toxins bound to it, are excreted in feces.

One of the main functions of blood is to carry oxygen to the various parts of the body. The oxygen in our bodies can be displaced, reduced, etc., due to the other gases, we introduce via smoking.

I am not anti-weed. But, I am 100% against setting fire to any substance and purposely inhaling the smoke. This is a detrimental anti-life process.
