I usually root for the brothas when they fight, but I was happy to see this dude lose. He defends racists, because he's one of the good ones to them

I think Hill will knock out Izzy too…
He beat the shit out of Texiera.. clowned the fucked out of Johnny Walker, worked over OSP…
Time will tell though. Hill is still going to have to deal with ole boy with the crazy lookin ponytail shit on his head and Perriera is going to have to deal with a high level wrestler in his division

I dont know bout Izzy, but we'll see I guess, and for all the shit we give Walker, I would NOT be suprised if he strings together a few wins and ends up with a TS.

Hill also lost to a dude that Walker just clowned.

Agreed. Those weight cuts are taxing on the body for Pereira, Chimaev, Usman, Figueiredo, etc.

Pereira could easily compete at LHW and not have to cut down the additional 20. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Chimaev moves up 15lbs. He missed the Diaz weight cut by 8 or 9, right?

Concurred re Pereira.

He did. By 8 lbs if I recall correctly. That's why Gilbert Burns gave him a hell of a time. I think Burns is more of a natural welterweight. Chimaev could easily fight at middleweight.

Yup ... not have to worry about the weight cut stressor.

Also, didn’t Burns move up to 170 from 155 over time? Smart move - compact frame, world class jiu-jitsu and better striking over the years. He’s no joke and didn’t embarrass himself vs Usman 2 - 3 years ago. He just was outclassed by Usman who has been legit for ages.

Definitely wish him the best. The division is in an interesting state. Jones has moved on. Glover and DC are retired. Jan will be retired soon. Anklaev is pissed off after fighting to a draw with Jan in December. Smith wants another title shot eventually. Jiri will rehab from the shoulder injury eventually.
 
This type of rivalry is missing right now.. it was definitely one for the books. Looking forward to someone motivating Jones to this level of fire again.
