I guess this is a worse case scenario of niggas emulating something they heard or saw in a song or from another city.
I remember the Lil Wayne "Blood" thing from the 2000s. Had niggas on message boards, who never sat foot in New Orleans, swearing we had Bloods.
Then some niggas started emulating that shit. You don't know how funny it is to see a nigga who never been further west than Houston throw up hand gestures and talk about "Piru" and "Bompton".
I think the only thing that stopped that shit from spiralling out of controll here was them nigga started running into real street niggas and it got real for them too fast.
