The other issue you don't realize is that whenever you marry someone you open yourself to "liability".

Your credit, finances and even freedom can be effected by what your spouse does. You are liable for every damn action that person does while you are playing house for 6 months. In the end when your credit is ruined and you REALLY want to marry, see how that works out for you when it's time to get a house or new car.

Fuck that. It's not that 10k is just a little bit of money, it's a little bit of money when the heartache outweighs it!

I was just offered 10K to marry a woman for 6 months so she could obtain her green card.

It's pocket change but it is money.

My best friend once married his wife partly for the same reason and the result was disastrous.

But money is money and 6 months go by quick.

Any suggestions?

1 It is illegal and why risk it.

2 If it is just "pocket change" then revert back to 1.
