The hate he gets from Cavs fans, some of the journalists and teammates doesn't make no sense at all.You would think they would appreciate a player that can score 20 points a game in his second year and bust his ass to improve his game. And,the third leading scorer in his draft.

Then, you have the national media act like he's a bum just because he's not flashy like Morant and Young. What's funny he has a better three-point percentage than Young...

I just don't understand, the hate he gets from most basketball fans and journalists....The only person nationally I saw gave Sexton some love is Kendrick Perkins when he didnt understand, why he was left out of the Rising Star when it was announced.
Right. I thought him and Thybulle being left out of the rising stars game was absolutely ridiculous. You can make a strong case for Thybulle being a top 15 defender in the league period!! I didn't know local Cleveland media members didn't like Sexton. Dude playd hard every night. Its evident some people just don't know what the fuck they are talking about. :smh:

Nah fam it ain't analytics, it's the money.....
It's both actually. But I'd lean morso towards the analytical side of things cause the players are making so much revenue in tv ratings and ticket and merchandise sales for the league they deserve the money they're getting. Analytics have told players they can no longer play 82 games a year. Players beg to be taken out of games to sit and rest. Too many have god given talent and are content with being good, not great. I remember not long ago you couldn't beg Allen Iverson to take a game off. These niggas have no heart all because of what a computer says. Everybody wants to be Steph Curry. Dudes can't even properly set a goddam screen anymore. It's ridiculous.

That's why I fucks with Perk. He keeps it 100.
The Wolves should be kicking themselves.
And if I'm KAT, I'm looking at the front office sideways right now.
Yeah he needs to get the fuck up on outta there. Although he's one of these new niggas that I consider wants to be good and not great. He's soft and too inconsistent. Doesn't push himself to the limit.

It is the same pathology that has driven the ridiculous amount of Jordan talk in a thread about the 2019 basketball season:

See that logic I don't understand at all.
I wasn't alive to see Dr. J in his prime, but I do have a internet connection. Just because I didn't see it live don't mean I can't research basketball history.

And where the hell did the Lebron angle come from? I didn't hear Zion mention Lebron's name once in that clip. How does saying positive about Jordan equal fuck Lebron.
This must be that new math that the kids are learning.

Real shit. Ben and Joel need to grow the fuck up. And it starts with not the coach telling them that, but ownership. Josh Harris wants to be buddy buddy with everyone. No fuck dat. You demand these guys be great cause your paying them as such.
Let me ask you this Jack, have you been hearing Max Kellerman and the other talking heads saying that Ben Simmons needs his own team.

I personally would like to see Joel put on some about 20-30 pounds of muscle and start dominating inside like Shaq v2.0. But I can't shake the thought that Ben has been stepping up and balling whenever Embiid isnt in the game. Having a team built around Simmons isn't the worst idea?

Again, I don't think that is the best idea either. But it would be interesting to see how he would develop if they went all in and built the team around him like Milwaukee did with Giannis.

I wouldn't blame him,if he wants to leave when his contract is up..

Alot people think he should sit on the bench, for whatever reason.

Tristan shouldn't be making and attempting more three-pointers than Ben Simmons. Especially, when Tristan rarely gets the ball that far from the paint.

Why do Coaches still teach their players to take charges on dunk attempts? It's literally the dumbest play in sports now. Ain't no refs rewarding you for standing in there and letting a dude put his nuts on your chin. Either meet him at the top or leave it alone.

Shit man the game moves so quick...he thought charge before seen Morant jumping to the rafters.

He gets hate from people outside of Cleveland? I never even hear anyone mention him. He gets forgotten because of who he plays for.

Man watching that Rising Stars challenge....NBA is in good hands. Usually its some guys I don't even know or even feel like they not that cold....mana ll them boys can ball out there that was out there and I know pretty much all of them which is crazy. Its like a few mega stars out there like Luka, Trae, Zion, Morant.....I been seeing some games of Wizards rookie from Japan.....he looks like he has some potential. I remember when he got drafted...I was wondering why he went where he went.

Nope. Teaming up with Lebron and Wade prevented that. He was considered the tag a long to those two. They were billed as a Big 3 and they were but just too many good players to leave out in favor of Bosh. Plus his career was shorter. Nobody really recognizes his time in Toronto since they sucked and the Miami run was what? 4 years?

Shit I thought that was considered one of his best dunks? I never realized how close he came to tearing his head up......damn.

The NBA took my advice.

Nice.
I hate to be that guy and I love the love Kobe's getting but damn why does it take death in order for them to appreciate some of these guys? Its like they getting Kobe now that he's died but passing over a lot of living legends. Just sucks they gotta wait in death to appreciate you.

The Cavs only two years remove from their last Finals appearance. And,alot of Cavs fans seem to be more patient with Garland and Porter than Sexton for whatever reason.
