AD bout to be a problem this season if he stay healthy.

Key word and don't forget about Lebron who's finally starting to break down a little after so many seasons.

Lakers really need load management this year & not worry too much about seeding.

I saw the game, my observation, teams are not gonna beat the Lakers if they can't hit jumpshots.

If the bigs stay healthy, they are gonna give people a lot of trouble, biggest weakness I saw was inconsistent outside shooting, but that will improve. Lebron and AD already got decent chemistry. Bradley and Rondo can bring extra energy on defense.

Also, it is gonna be "Lob City" if you have no quality bigs.

The Warriors were shooting a lot of jumpshots, their offense is average now.

All Lakers gotta do is run pick and roll all night, plus all the bogs can rim protect.

I was impressed, cannot front.

They weren't playing full throttle and the size advantage was glaring.

As much as the league and analytics want to do the three, the mid-range/inside game seems to be making a comeback.

Three point shooting is streaky. Lobs and off glass are usually more consistent.

The offensive boards came effortlessly.

Man we know how that shit words...fucking Utah or Denver could be the top team in the west....shit the dubs system is still in place, they gonna be back to the dubs they were before KD... and we know how that worked
Don't forget about injuries. They will take out at least 4 key Lakers this year. I'm looking forward to the collapse again!!! Fuck the Lakers. Plenty of other very good teams around the league.

This is going to be an interesting year. Health and guard play for the lake show will be important.

Harden and Westbrook will have the Rockets atop the west in the regular season. But Id be more worried bout the Rockets load management. Harden and Westbrook regular season usage kills them every playoff. Dont see this year being different. Lake Show is deeper this year and guys will get plenty of rest over the year. Lake Show isnt concerned about seeding, just want to have the squad healthy come playoff time.

6’6 with shoes off.. 6’7 with shoes on

From the article:

Before everyone rushes to label this the first sign that the No. 1 overall pick will be a bust, it's not actually all that surprising. The NBA has reportedly given a mandate this season that all players be listed at their actual heights -- without shoes on. Because shoes generally add an inch or so, it makes logical sense that Williamson would now measure at 6-6 instead of 6-7.

I did not know what to make of that-- It would be weird if the NBA standard was shoes off and the NCAA standard was shoes on. If the article's downplaying of the difference is accurate, we should expect all rookies to be an inch shorter than they were thought to be.

Out just in the last hour from a blog, not yet covered by any real news outlet I've seen:

Kevin Durant Height Officially Listed At 6’10”

One of the biggest mysteries surrounding the NBA involves Kevin Durant and his height. In the past, KD stated he had different heights, even admitting he lied when he was on the court and when he was around women.

Well, it looks like the mystery is finally resolved as the Brooklyn Nets have officially listed KD as 6’10”. The NBA recently asked teams to be transparent with the height of their players, and with that in mind, we can say Durant’s official height has been finally revealed.

This was always curious to see, with the 2x NBA champion claiming he was 6’9 or any other height, but he seemed to be as tall or taller than DeMarcus Cousins in some pictures. Now we finally know why was that.

The other big name the Nets landed this summer, Kyrie Irving, was listed at 6’2 by the organization, while in past seasons he appeared listed at 6’3.
