I really hate when people say this shit. The rules have made the game more wide open and easier to score. Dudes today don't want to play defense and the coaching is terrible overall. Hell, you can't even find 3 players who want to play in all 82 games. Fundamentals are totally lost and players are shooting themselves out of a championship. Joel Embiid is a prime fuckin example. Wanting to be trendy instead of working towards his strengths. How quickly niggas forget the past.

Bro I think it’s a few things,
Lebron playing point vs point forward - he’s actually being a point guard vs having that ball on the box and running the offense thru him(that’s what they do with AD)
Roster - I think the roster mesh very good, the parts fit perfectly....the shooting ain’t where’s folks would love to see it but it’s not horrible and costing them games
coaching - they been doing a great job with matchups and subs
the scheme been get the bigs going, the shooters slashers, then Lebron does what he can.....
at the moment they or 4 & 5 on the mvp race

Man honestly I rather see them go after Covington from Minnesota, a 3 & D forward that can spell minutes for Tucker. Our peremiter defense is terrible.
We're getting back Gordon in a few weeks so I really don't see a need for Crawford. Crawford has always been a bad defender & that's the last thing we need right now.
Also don't sleep on Clemons, he's instant offense anytime he gets minutes but he's a liability defensively tho.
Do the Bucks have a legit shot this year?
Philly is going to be tough with Horford and Embiid able to clog the lane from Giannis.

To Giannis credit, he’s been working on his jumper. Still, you’d want to keep him out the paint and shoot from the outside, but I see improvements from him. He’s very aware of his weakness.
This Laker 23-3 start is the best start LeBron has ever had in his career. Imagine that, in the West of all places. Its also a better start than any of the Golden State Warriors teams of the last 5 years save for 2016 when they had their early season winning streak but lost in the Finals. BGOL doesnt portray these Lakers just as unstoppable for some reason.

Bruh even Luka Doncic Mr" 20-5-5" said not to put his name in the same sentence with Jordan in regard to stats because everything is "inflated". If the dude that's actually PLAYING is telling you it's inflated then come on. And Luka only been in the league 2 years and he sees this. I remember someone put together a piece showing the defense of the 80s vs the defense of today. They showed the fucking spacing on the court of the modern era and basically said it's physically impossible for 5 humans to cover the space that today's player's use. Again to lazy to dig up the piece, but the spacing issue was crazy when they showed it in pictures. Folks don't appreciate what's on display.
Even Van Gundy said today's defense has evolved from when he came into the league in the 90s. The reason cats started using so much space is also because coaches devised quasi-zone schemes to make driving to the lane harder.
Yeah, they stopped the physical bullshit that allowed for slow-footed fucks to be considered defensive gawds, but the NBA also changed the defensive rules and that allows for much more advanced schemes.
Look at the top guys scoring. Harden is an all-time offensive great. The freak is a 7-foot player with guard-like ability. Luka is a generational talent. But yeah, lets shit on the NBA being too easy when those cats would have toasted any fucking era. And I remember when Masbhurn, Kidd, and JJ were putting up numbers for Dallas in the mid-90s in the 'watered' down NBA.
I agree. Steph Curry isnt really the greatest shooter of all time either. His 3 point stats are drastically inflated due to this era. Steph is Dale Ellis if he played in the 90s era. Ray Allen, Larry Bird, Pete Maravich were all better shooters and players and faced better comp. When I hear these lil kids say Steph is the greatest I just shake my head.

Harden done made MJ all time scoring seasons look basic. He basically is doing what MJ did on those early Bulls teams. He's leading the league in usage rate and FT attempts again like Mikey in the 80s and early 90s. Charles Barkley is on national TV saying Harden is more dangerous and unstoppable offensively than Jordan was. And he from his era.
