Man I know it’s hard as hell to be a coach but mf somewhere some how

this shit can work

ok the lack of shooting ain’t on Russ

the lack of quality depth ain’t on Russ

lakers shooting woes been issues for 4 years

Ok pass it to AD or Lebron
Who’s behind the arc and will Jack up a weak ass 3

they 0-3 but could be 2-1 with a new coach and in full panic mode

could Russ play better yes, could the front office not parade dude name in the media like a 3 dollar hooker… yes

I never felt that worked good for the chemistry of a team

Bruh they're just doing everything wrong!

It's the coach's job to coach, manage the players strengths and weaknesses. If your team can't shoot 3's, then stop fucking shooting them!

Like you said the bad shooting's definitely not a new thing, they're just so bad at it's being highlighted.

It's definitely it all on Russ, they all need to be better. But about Russ, I'm not a professional basketball player. But if I'm not hitting shots, then it's time to take it to the basketball and to other things to help the team.

He knows that he's not a shooter, but continues to shoot! :smh:

Poor shot selection, brain dead plays and effort are doing the Lakers in.

Something has to change and it ain't all on Russ.

Indiana might want to trade Buddy Hield, so they can get the Arizona kid more time

Some of these teams don't seem to know how to tank, San Antonio and Utah

Who knew that trade for Gobert like it's 1992 playing two bigs would be a questionable move

I seriously don't understand how can't they tell that muthafucka to simply drive to the basket and lay it up or drive and kick.

Play hard defense and be a team player. If your shot's not hitting do other shit.

Russ can still physically play the game but his stubbornness\attitude and what the Lakers are asking him to do is the problem.

Some of his game is the problem but he's also a bad fit at what they're asking him to do.

Edit: He averaged 18, 7 and 7 last year but shot 29% from 3 and 48% from 2.

He's a career 30% 3 point shooter so he's just doing what he does. Things are just amplified now and people are kinda overreacting...

Other than his boneheaded play yesterday and career horrendous shooting in the first 3 games! :roflmao:

But Russ is just Russing!

Because people like negativity, like to run with narratives and in general likes to see people fucking up.

We all know that Russ isn't playing good, but the media and people are highlighting it like he's the reason that they're losing.

The entire team is shooting shitty right now. We'll see what changes are made to gameplay and shot selection by the Lakers as a whole.

Is this dude slow? Why were you trying to hurry him up like it was less than a minute left?

The game clock runs even if the ball isn't touched unless it's 2 minutes left in the game. Memphis (Ja in particular) was letting the ball roll as the game clock rolled and the shot clock stayed at 24. It was a pretty smart move by Ja and the Memphis staff doing so but that particular play itself, 15 seconds of game clock had run before Ben made Ja pick it up.

Ben has played like absolute dog shit so far this season but that wasn't a foul

Shouldn't he get some easy points with the attention that KD and Kyrie get?

This dude used to get 16 points a game

I’m not sure if you got a chance to see the Nets play yet, but last night was my first time watching them this season. Simmons is damaged goods.

Whatever is going on in his mind isn’t going to be fixed. He gets plenty of touches and even brings the ball up court as a point guard. If he drives, he is 100% dishing.

BK needs him to be a threat offensively. They are not going to win with him on the court.

He's literally not looking at the rim like @4 Dimensional mentioned earlier. He's a shot player

Yeah, man. That shit is painful to watch. He gets great position in the post and tosses it back out before he even lands on the ground from catching it.

It’s some of the craziest professional basketball shit I have ever seen.

BK trying to mask it with better ball movement which I saw flashes of, but close games can’t hide the issue anymore.

Man, I have said the same thing.

He is doing exactly what he’s always been doing except he can’t get triple double no more, so all his bad shit is amplified.
