Ok on some real shit, they need to shut the fuck up with THIS bullshit. Real Nuggets fans know that a double digit lead doesn’t mean shit on a Mike Malone coached Nuggets team. They’re KNOWN for blowing leads and if they watched the game, the Nets cut the lead down to single digits even after Jokic came back in. Imagine if Malone left the bench in there and lost another lead. He’s coaching for his job too and ain’t got time to worry about people thinking he helping Jokic “stat pad”
It’s a garbage criticism. Seven minutes left with a lead of less than 20 is not a locked up game in today’s NBA. That’s against just about any team, not specific to any coach.
I don’t think Jokic should be a 3 time MVP. Still, more 20/15/10 games than the rest of the league combined this season is a hell of an accomplishment-- Knocking that makes you a hater, pure and simple.
