Hes the personification of a hater. All his stances are pro-company and anti-labor. Dude is a broken record of half cocked bullshit rhetoric thats based in nothing more than his pea brain "analysis" and opinion. His takes are always blanket statements critical of players/athletes while supporting oppressive aspects of ownership/administration. Hes a got dam disgrace. .. and a moron to boot.
You’ve made good points recently about Barkley sounding like a clown talking about “we pay these guys millions,” identifying more with owners than athletes. I still like him because he’s funny and authentic, however flawed, but I agree he is also a disgrace and a moron.

However, it is silly and discrediting for you to claim “His takes are always blanket statements critical of players/athletes” when the post you responded to had an example of athlete praise he has repeated ad nauseam. (Yes, that particular example is a low bar but I don’t even watch Inside the NBA that often and there are obviously others.)

This is actually shocking and surprising news, everyone thought that he was gonna come back and play the last 7 games of the season.

So ummm this mental illness stuff...

We just gonna act like it never happened?

Or is it seasonal?

Is he cured?

ESPN sure seems to act like he fasted for a few days and it's all good now?

Does it only count during contract disputes?

I'm confused.

I now understand his mental illness claim. Losing 30 million in one year is enough to drive any person crazy and depressed.

Not to mention that shooting nerve impingement in his back. It's enough to have most of us down, on and off the court.

You worried Cuzco?

@jack walsh13

Not worried. that was an absolute ridiculous schedule. Not just the opponents, but the amount of games. Sixers play the most amount of games th is month of anybody in the league. Who put this bullshit together? That being said we are still playing good ball and the bench is the best it's been in a long time. BUT GLENN RIVERS IS STILL THERE SO IT ALL REALLY MEANS NOTHING.............:smh:

Sports culture is fucked up. Sure athletes are overpaid but capitalism is to blame for that, not them. People who enjoy sports should always respect the humanity of athletes and maybe ease the fuck up when piling on someone already subject to a bunch of criticism.

If you “hate” an athlete, the problem is you, not the athlete.

And when we see someone spreading hate, maybe we all have a duty to call them out on it. Even if their words don’t reach the athlete, reducing public acceptance of toxic behavior probably ripples beyond sports into the general culture.
