Lakers are only meaningfully ahead of the Spurs, Rockets, Pistons and Hornets in wins.

The fact that they don’t own their pick this year could dramatically shift the future of the NBA and the Lakers because, otherwise, it would make sense to tank and go for Victor Wembanyama right now.

Imagine Wembanyama landing with LeBron in LA— Adam Silver would gleefully sacrifice both nuts and any children for that dream outcome.
We don’t need him

They might be too good at the midrange for their own good...
Yep. This is on coaching. You have to understand that the way you're selecting shots isnt conducive to winning with this roster and short rotation. They actually did a better tonite of shooting more and shooting more deep shots. Just need to be more assertive and get to the line more. KD was awful from 3 tonite.

Especially in the 4th after Paul went down Phx shot selection, player movement, cuts & screens all stopped. Meanwhile Denver kept getting fast breaks off of all those missed midrange shots.

Adjustments will be needed on Friday or this could be a short and really unsatisfying series.

I can’t wait till he goes away

I can not wait till he’s out of my sports life entirely

only this franchise would enable and allow him to do these silly and hurtful things

Can u imagine if he was a NEW YORK KNICK doing these tactics

Don't let this boring white boy make it the conference finals. The white boy talking heads of ESPN will never shut up.

I’m disappointed in you. Not angry….just disappointed.:smh:

Go Nuggets Nigga! Somebody better eliminate them or I’ll terrorize this thread.

Just joking.

Damn just let us get the WCF. That’s all I ask for.

A example of Draymond's great leadership

He's going to be another Shaq on TV when he retires trying to rewrite his career because he has rings

Draymond Green asked his boss for permission to miss part of a business trip so he could watch one of his good friends reach a major milestone.

The friend, LeBron James. The milestone, the NBA career points record.

With the Golden State Warriors fighting for their lives in the playoffs, coach Steve Kerr decided it was best for Green to be with the team the night before a game in Portland, Oregon, instead of going to Los Angeles to see James become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer on Feb. 7. Green understood and instead saluted his buddy on Twitter, calling James the greatest of all time with seven goat emojis

“Yeah, I was definitely going,” Green told Andscape. “It was a TNT game. I was doing the broadcast and Steve said, ‘I don’t think that’ll be great for our team. While we’re flying out on the road, you’re flying to LA, guys see that, guys see you on the TV calling the game. This is a big game for us against Portland.’ I said, ‘All right, respect. No problem. I’ll be there with my team.’

“I flew to Portland, we got to get a win and we’re here. So, it definitely was something that I wanted to be present for. It was just such a big moment in life and friendship. But there will be other big moments and we’ll create great memories.”

IMO, they have to go to the finals at least. Y’all got a full squad this year.

Philly needs Embiid to return as soon as possible to compete against an elite defense over a seven-game series.

  • I'm told Embiid underwent platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy last week in an attempt to expedite his knee’s recovery. He partially participated in Sunday’s practice, but his LCL sprain is significant and considered more serious than a Grade 1 sprain.

  • Embiid does have a history of playing through pain. The Sixers will manage the big picture, but Embiid is unquestionably pushing his way back. I’m told he must show he can run more up and down the court, so expect another game-time decision for Wednesday’s Game 2.
