This is the reason. Refs don't want to make that call when tied right before overtime. They would rather it get decided on the floor in OT
They didn't mind calling that bullshit foul on Pat Bev against Jaylen tho

That one was not a last-second call with the one last play.
The regulation play/foul was you guys get it finished " on the floor" not on me(ref speak).
You're right, it happened with 4 seconds left for Jaylen to tie the game with the 3 point play.
But there were lots of bad calls.
But it was literally the play before Bron's layup!![]()
As I said Lakers had 5 minutes in OT to win. If the Celtics were up and that happened to the lakers(to end the game) I would understand. but it was tied for OT.... and the lakers failed in OT. Blame Pat for his camera antics giving the Celtics two free points.
Rule changes won't fix this, the only way to fix it is get different refs.
Just look at Chris Paul and Scott Foster.
At least Claxton isn’t afraid to go to line even tho he sucks. This young kat has confidence and it’s growing every game.
Yes the Lakers had a chance to win but they were mentally defeated after the no call on the celtics.
I see a lot of Laker fines will be handed out tomorrow. Worthy about to get one too...
Well, maybe this loss will kickstart the Lakers to get on a winning streak and get into the playoff race.Yes the Lakers had a chance to win but they were mentally defeated after the no call on the celtics.

The person who prevented the game from being settled on the floor was J. Tatum when he committed an illegal act(striking Bron's arm.) Allowing that to happen without imposing the appropriate penalty accomplished the exact opposite of "settling it on the floor," as it clearly gave one team an advantage.
Question: If Bron had committed a blatant travel on that play, and completed the layup, would you be cool with the refs letting it go? In the spirit of settling it on the floor.
Doctor Doofus constantly embarrasses himself
Rui is a rotation player and a former lottery pick. It's your job.
Some stuff you shouldn't say out loud.
You know Shaq's entirely too sensitive![]()
Bron going to cry on the court
Man I understand it was a missed call but that's embarrassing for a player of Lebron status to be acting like that, the game was going to overtime but he acting like he just lost Game 7 by one point..smh
Lebron acted like Tatum ripped his arm off and threw it in the crowd!![]()
