They didn't mind calling that bullshit foul on Pat Bev against Jaylen tho :rolleyes2:

That one was not a last-second call with the one last play.
The regulation play/foul was you guys get it finished " on the floor" not on me(ref speak).

You're right, it happened with 4 seconds left for Jaylen to tie the game with the 3 point play. :rolleyes2:

But there were lots of bad calls.

But it was literally the play before Bron's layup! :roflmao:

As I said Lakers had 5 minutes in OT to win. If the Celtics were up and that happened to the lakers(to end the game) I would understand. but it was tied for OT.... and the lakers failed in OT. Blame Pat for his camera antics giving the Celtics two free points.

Yes the Lakers had a chance to win but they were mentally defeated after the no call on the celtics.

At least Claxton isn’t afraid to go to line even tho he sucks. This young kat has confidence and it’s growing every game.

I really was disappointed when we had to trade Allen in the Harden trade but he needed to go in order for Claxton to grow.

Clax should be first team All defense and potential MIP. Hell, he even has an outside chance for the all star team if KD doesn't play

This is the reason. Refs don't want to make that call when tied right before overtime. They would rather it get decided on the floor in OT

The person who prevented the game from being settled on the floor was J. Tatum when he committed an illegal act(striking Bron's arm.) Allowing that to happen without imposing the appropriate penalty accomplished the exact opposite of "settling it on the floor," as it clearly gave one team an advantage.

Question: If Bron had committed a blatant travel on that play, and completed the layup, would you be cool with the refs letting it go? In the spirit of settling it on the floor.

I agree with you the call was not made. But everyone that has watched a lot of games knows the rules of ref calls: From super-star calls, make-up calls, late whistle calls, and no calls. This has been the norm forever. And we have seen that "no call" during a tied game to go to overtime. That call gets made if the lakers were losing(not a tie game). These are those "unwritten" rules of the NBA(like basket hanging and late whistles).

Lebron has benefitted from this more that any other player

Man I understand it was a missed call but that's embarrassing for a player of Lebron status to be acting like that, the game was going to overtime but he acting like he just lost Game 7 by one point..smh

I don't know man, LeBron is 38 and is routinely scoring his age while playing against the children of other players he's played against.

The only help he has is AD who's always hurt, Westbrook who can't be trusted when the game is on the line, and a very inconsistent Pat Bev and Schroder.

There has never been a player that's had to carry this many bums for this long, let alone at his age.

To be that close to winning a prime time game against the best team in the league on the road despite all of that, and to lose it because of an obviously blown call......

Plus you have to look at it in context. The other day, he was sitting on the bench dejected as hell for the reasons I described. That had to factor into his reaction against the no call.
