Trivia question: Has a Rookie of the Year ever retired without making an all-star appearance? If so, who most recently?

Tyreek Evans and Michael Carter whats his face would be my guesses. Not sure if either "retired" but neither are in the league currently.

I can see this happening with these kids wanting to get ice and cars looking like NBA players and impress people
