How would you feel if the NBA just scrapped its rule book and adopted the FIBA rule book, which would place it in line with every other league around the world similar to soccer

Just wondering whats the business of being an insider for stuff like this. Sham gets plenty of followers and I'm sure his network greases his pockets for being the first to announce breaking news. But whats the motivation for the people who leak shit to people in this business? He has to have hundreds of contacts feeding him info. Outside of trying to be on some whistle blower shit. I can't see why people jump to give him inside information. It's not like he TMZ and paying for it.

I've been calling for years for the league to shorten the season. Shortening the quarters ain't going to do shit.
One of the main problems with NBA viewership is that the season is full of too many meaningless matchups. They hype up the beginning of the season and then casuals can tune out until the IST. From their causals don't need to check in again until Christmas day games. Another disconnect until trade deadline/allstar weekend. And one last month long checkout until the hype for the playoffs/play-in.
Cut all that meaningless shit out and make every game more important.

Ticket prices at these absurdly expensive arenas would have to increase in kind for the reduction of games..... and how would that effect staff pay? How would you change the schedule? Keep the overall length of time the same, (Oct - Jun) with more time off between games so there are dedicated game days of the week like the NFL or shorten the season and keep the same tempo of games per week across the league?
