Jokic the most selfless superstar so I’m trying to figure out how the players around him struggle to play at a high level. His usage is so high because other players act like they forgot how to play basketball when they are called upon to step up. It’s literally been proven that when Jamal Murray is on his A game, Nuggets are hard to beat. Combine that with MPJ on his shit and the Nuggets are unbeatable. Fact remains that those two don’t fucking show up like they need to most of the time. So yes, we all see the potential and the talent but them boys aren’t like that. Jokic or no Jokic.
Westbrook was only getting those minutes cuz Jamal can’t stay healthy. Jamal ain’t played since I don’t know when. People forgetting about that. Westbrook was brought here to be a bench player but due to Jamal missing a lot of time, Russ had to step up. And he did. I believe the Nuggets record is 15 games above .500 when he starts and for a minute the Nuggets looked better with him starting than Jamal.
