I think you have a better chance of getting a good shot from Buddy or Podz than Curry in that situation, with how they were defending him. Trusting Buddy in that situation is the whole point of having him on the team.

Two years ago the Heat had to fight for their lives in the play-in even though they had the same record as the Warriors who got a playoff spot.
Sometimes being in a given conference helps, sometimes it doesn't.
That's why I'm advocating for the fairest system, with the top teams included every year!
It isn't an argument against any particular team. Just that winning the division and not having a winning record does stand out as far as the unlevel playing field. But the most important thing is who makes it and who doesn't.
