Dame Time!

The only nigga from The Bay that @largebillsonlyplease hate on.
I never hated on Dame. I only sought he'd be in his proper place!
He never took Steph's anything and I wish him nothing but success with the bucks

Everybody is just like ... Just put these two or three together and we'll win
And the answer has been for about 15 years now, unless 1 of those players is named Steph or LeBron, you're wasting your time.

“I have to read what we need. I have to read who’s playing well together. And to be very frank, the Jimmy / JK (Kuminga) combination has not been great and that’s the tricky part here. And I’m playing Jimmy 40 minutes a night because Jimmy is, he’s one of the very best players in the league. And there’s a reason we’re here and we’re in the seventh seed… And the reason is Jimmy and so my job as a coach is to keep the team on a path that I think gives us the best chance to win. And for now, that’s why I’ve been leaning into the lineups that I have.”

I can't remember what the situation was exactly but the NBA was controlling the team for a period of time so he was acting in best interest of the team

Their previous owner George Shinn sucked. He was basically forced out but failed at finding a buyer, so the league had to step in...

"The NBA purchased the New Orleans Hornets from majority owner George Shinn and minority owner Gary Chouest in December 2010 for an estimated $300 million. Shinn was struggling to find a buyer for his share of the team, and the NBA stepped in to ensure the team's stability and operations."

They eventually found a buyer and sold it to them afterwards. The optics of doing that trade while the league owned the team would've been bad and people would've said it was rigged. So Stern didn't do it.

The reality is "the commissioner blocked the trade" myth is an excuse because Kobe fell off after age 32 and never came close to winning again. Cp3 is supposedly this missing piece that would've saved his career.

In the same breath, people clowned cp3 as a loser that can't win the next 15 years. Getting him wasn't a guarantee for shit (ask Harden and Booker).

One missed trade wasn't the reason the Lakers lost the most games in the 2010s decade. It was Kobe declining and sucking at drawing other stars to play with because he was selfish and wouldn't take a paycut and still wanted it to be his team. Theres tons of potential trades that don't happen, that was just one of em.

The bottom 3 all have rings.
You're right, but Mitchell and Shai's teams have the best records in the league and they need to win to stamp themselves as official.

Because right now only Cavs fans believe the Cavs, and we all need to see OKC do something in the playoffs to prove that they're not just good in the regular season.

I can't really say that Ant should be there.
