You’re entitled to your opinion.
Not just the greats. He is the consensus pick. That doesn’t mean other opinions aren’t valid.
Also I think there is a level of bias to the opinions people express. Bill Cosby was famously an asshole. Anybody who learns about his history with Eddie Murphy will side with Eddie. Pryor was cool, he and Eddie were edgy, Cosby was a scold. That’s without even getting into the drugging and raping. It’s easy to understand why casuals would prefer praising Pryor.
I’d rather hang with Pryor and I think he was a better person. But I think Cosby was a much better stand-up comedian.
